VenaSeal™ is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. Unlike traditional thermal treatments that use heat or injections of multiple anesthetics, VenaSeal uses a medical adhesive (cyanoacrylate) to gently seal diseased veins shut. Once sealed, blood is naturally rerouted into healthy veins, circulation improves, and the treated vein is gradually absorbed by the body. Varicose veins occur when the valves inside the veins become weak or damaged, causing blood to flow backward (venous reflux) and pool in the legs. This leads to bulging, twisted veins and symptoms such as heaviness, swelling, or pain. VenaSeal addresses the root cause by targeting the refluxing vein, improving both symptoms and appearance without the need for surgery.

Your consultation includes a physical exam and diagnostic ultrasound to confirm which veins are affected. On the day of treatment, the procedure is performed in-office under local anesthesia at the catheter entry site.
