Effective Solutions to Reduce & Fade Stretch Marks

Stretch marks can affect anyone, regardless of age or skin type. Whether caused by pregnancy, weight fluctuations, or hormonal changes, these lines can impact confidence and skin texture. Fortunately, advanced non-surgical treatments can help fade stretch marks, stimulate collagen production, and improve skin elasticity.

What Are Stretch Marks?

What Are Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks, also known as striae, are visible lines that appear when the skin stretches or shrinks rapidly. This sudden change disrupts collagen and elastin, causing thin, scar-like streaks that can appear red, purple, or white depending on their stage.

Common Causes of Stretch Marks

Common Causes of Stretch Marks

Pregnancy – Rapid belly expansion during pregnancy can stretch the skin beyond its natural elasticity.

Weight Changes – Quick weight gain or loss can cause skin stretching and scarring.

Growth Spurts – Teenagers often develop stretch marks during puberty due to rapid growth.

Hormonal Imbalances – High cortisol levels can weaken skin elasticity, making stretch marks more likely.

Genetics – Some individuals are more prone to stretch marks due to inherited skin characteristics.

Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing

Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing

The Dual Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing technique provides exceptional stretch mark treatment using two treatment settings; The Fractional Laser and Super Er:Yag Laser. The Fractional Laser penetrates the deepest layers of the skin to rejuvenate and renew the stretch marks. The Ultra-Laser Peel removes superficial skin imperfections on the skin’s surface for a full field treatment. The Dual Fractional Laser Resurfacing technique stimulates collagen production and promotes cell renewal, speeding up healing time.

FAQ for Stretch Marks Treatment

If I would like to know more about this treatment what is the next step?

Here at NewDermaMed Clinic we offer FREE consultations to our valued clients. This would give us the opportunity to explain in further detail any questions we may not have answered already. It will also give us the chance to show you in person why you have come to the right place! Our state-of-the-art clinic is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto.

How much are treatments?

During a FREE consultation, our Medical Professional will review with the client what areas they wish to be treated. Then afterwards they will create a quote tailored to their needs. This is because every client is unique when it comes to the conditions of their stretch marks.

Does this treatment fix all different kinds of Stretch Marks?

If your Stretch Marks have red pigments we recommend the combined use of the IPL, Nd-YAG Laser, and Fractional Laser Resurfacing. Doing this will achieve maximum visible results.

Will I notice a difference right away after one session?

Your body needs time to start producing healthy collagen in the treated area. Visible results from the Laser Resurfacing may or may not be present immediately. Clients may need multiple sessions to achieve the results you are hoping for. It would be well to note that after each session however, the area treated is 20% better in smoothness. After each treatment our clients will see improvements in the texture, diameter and depth of their stretch marks.

What will my skin be like after my treatment?

Laser Resurfacing therapy requires very little recovery time. Some clients may experience temporary swelling but this will only last a few days.

What is so important about collagen?

Collagen repairs and rejuvenates skin tissue. It is known as the natural “building blocks” of the body. Here at NewDermaMed Clinic we want our clients to know that collagen is very important in keeping healthy skin, and our laser treatments always promote that. We want you to have what your body deserves, naturally!

What happens to my Stretch Marks when it is being treated?

The laser therapy actually “fills in” your Stretch Marks during the process. This is done as mentioned earlier by removing the damaged skin and fibers. As well as stimulating collagen regrowth.

How does a Laser Treatment work?

By using Laser Resurfacing, we can stimulate in-depth collagen and elastin synthesis. This non-invasive procedure removes damaged tissue while leaving healthy surrounding areas untouched. We treat Stretch Marks at the deep level where they are formed. No cream or oil purchased at Beauty Supplies can match this proven modern technology. We simply take care of the Stretch Marks right at the source of the problem.

Which one would be best for me?

During a FREE consultation, our Medical Professional will evaluate the area and recommend what laser would be best. However, our Fractional Laser Resurfacing is the most effective!

Do you have a treatment that really works with Stretch Marks?

Absolutely! Here at NewDermaMed Clinic we only use the best technology available on the market. This is so we can guarantee our clients the best results. For the removal of stretch marks, our qualified staff uses various laser technologies. These Include Laser Genesis, Nd-YAG Lasers, IPL Lasers and Fractional Laser Resurfacing. We will refer to them as Laser Resurfacing.

Why won’t creams work to get rid of them?

Beauty creams do not have the best results because Stretch Marks are tears at a deeper level of the skin, and ruptured collagen fibers. The fact is topical treatments simply cannot penetrate deeply enough to dramatically improve Stretch Marks.

Where do Stretch Marks come from?

They can be caused by different factors, most common being because of rapid gain or weight loss. We see them as unattractive pink, red or purple-based hues. Stretch Marks are usually located on abdomen, breasts, upper arms, buttocks and thighs.

Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Fractional laser therapy targets stretch marks by creating micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin regeneration. This helps improve skin texture, reduce discoloration, and fade marks over time. ✔ Boosts skin renewal for smoother, firmer texture ✔ Reduces redness and hyperpigmentation ✔ Stimulates collagen production for long-term improvement

Biostimulator Injections

Biostimulators are injectable treatments that activate natural collagen production, improving skin thickness and elasticity in areas affected by stretch marks. Over time, they help soften and reduce the appearance of scars. ✔ Improves skin quality and elasticity ✔ Gradually reduces stretch mark depth and texture ✔ Provides long-lasting results by restoring collagen

Microneedling for Stretch Marks

Microneedling uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the body's natural healing response and boosting collagen production. It helps smooth out stretch marks and improve skin tone. ✔ Minimizes stretch mark visibility ✔ Enhances skin regeneration and firmness ✔ Can be combined with serums or growth factors for better results

Mesotherapy for Skin Repair

Mesotherapy involves injecting a customized blend of vitamins, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid into the affected area to nourish, hydrate, and rejuvenate damaged skin. This technique improves skin elasticity and accelerates the repair of stretch marks. ✔ Deeply hydrates and revitalizes the skin ✔ Improves skin resilience and texture ✔ Supports skin healing and collagen synthesis
