What to Expect
The length of each session varies from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Patients feel a warming sensation as the laser goes under the skin to target fat cells. This is followed by skin tightening to make the skin more elastic. Most patients say the treatment was comfortable and that they didn’t have much redness or swelling afterward. You can go back to your normal activities right away because it doesn’t hurt. Visible changes usually start to happen within weeks and keep getting better as the body makes more collagen and processes fat naturally.
