A standard Sculptra® session lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. After a consultation, the injectable is put into the cheeks, temples, or jawline, which are areas where volume has been lost. There may be mild swelling, redness, or tenderness, but this usually goes away in a few days. Sculptra® works slowly, with changes becoming noticeable after a few weeks and continuing to improve the skin's look over several months. This is different from fillers that show immediate results.
